DEEDS

"Robert Easley, Sr. had a patent for 315 acres of land on Reedy Creek in 1704 for bringing 7 persons to dwell in the colony (Book-9, page 624, Cradle of the Republic)

...and had a patent jointly with Thomas Jefferson [grandfather of President Thomas Jefferson], Thomas Turpin and John Archer for 1,500 acres on Fine Creek, in Henrico County, which became Goochland in 1727, Cumberland in 1748 and Powhatan since 1777, for bringing 18 people to dwell in colony (Book -10, page 378, Cradle of the Republic)."

Note:  Out of the 1,500 acres owned by four individuals posted above, Robert Easley was owner of 500 acres of the patent at the time of his will and subsequent death.
