The years have slipped quickly, like sand through my fingers.

Painting a picture of you that will linger always within me.

Time alone could not phase it, portrayed by an artist

The whole world would praise it.

But it's only a picture that lives in my heart,

You are the models, each playing your part

Of a mother, a father, both gentle and kind,

Filled with love and devotion, and to think, you are mine.
