THE GENEALOGY OF ROBERT (ROBIN) EASLEY, THE FRENCH HUGUENOT IMMIGRANT, AND ANN PAREKER

THROUGH GEORGE WOODSON EASLEY AND DELLA JEANETTE WHITTON AND THEIR FAMILY

TENNESSEE

John Easley II (1756-1827), Benjamin Easley (1782-1852)

John Easley II was the father of Benjamin and Warham. (John II and Benjamin are our direct ancestors).

Warham, Benjamin's brother,  went with General Jackson in 1812 to fight the British in New Orleans.  Benjamin stayed in TN and took care of both families until Warham got back.

Benjamin and Warham were married to sisters Mary and Mariam
Murphree respectively -daughters of Solomon Murphree and Martha Bynum.  They all moved together from the Carolinas to TN after 1810 but before 1812.

They all left TN before 1820, except John Easley II and his wife, Winifred Hawkins, and went into Alabama before the territory was opened for settlement.

John died in 1827 and Winifred sold the farm.

Researched by Uncle Carlos Easley

Note:  The Irish Murphrees were from our latest immigration line, Daniel Murphree ( 1717-1769) and Sarah Dempsey (1721-1771) being the immigrants.  Three families migrated together, being influenced by Manifest Destiny, the Easleys, the Murphrees and the Bynums.  According to Uncle Carlos, the Easleys owe their history to the good record keeping of the other two families.
